The trip was an amazing and unforgettable experience. The location is very beautiful and close to nature and backwaters. The place is very well maintained. On arriving we were welcomed by Ms Prutha and Maheshji. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The food is home cooked which is delicious especially the "rasam." The rooms are spacious and comfortable with an excellent ambience and the washrooms are very clean and hygienic.There are a lot of games both Indoor and outdoor and we had fun playing all the games. The most fun we had was in “Theppa ride” on the backwaters. There is a watch tower from which the view of the surrounding nature is very beautiful. We recently went to Dhumbi Home Stay for a fun relaxing weekend getaway with my friends. I was mesmerized by the environment at this place. The location had an amazing scenic and green environment. It was such a homely feeling with the wonderful hosts who were always making sure that the stay was comfortable. We were treated to tasty homelike food. The food was tasty because most of the ingredients were locally sourced or grown in the nearby farms. The homestay had lots of activities including games, nature walk and a great time at the backwaters close by. The experience of the thrilling theppa (coracle) ride should not be missed by anyone. We all had a great time at the bonfire on Saturday night. I must say that the clear pollution free sky made for an amazing opportunity for star gazing. We stayed overnight on Saturday and returned on Sunday afternoon. The lunch, dinner and breakfast we had there was absolutely delicious.
